If they cannot verify the debt then the credit bureau must remove it from your credit report.contact the c r a and tell them youd like to file a dispute. they will take it from there.
I know I have done this. Dont make payment arrangements once you do it "reopens" your account (makes it active) and the 7 year time period begins all over again from the date you made arrangements!!
