If they have a judgment, they can force you to disclose your assets. If you attempt to hide them at this point, it could be construed as fraud. If you don't show up, they can arrest you. So yes, the threats are serious.

What they will get will depend on what assets you have that are not exempt. The only thing that will stop this from happening is for you to work out a payment plan with them or begin filing for bankruptcy. I don't know what your other debts are so I am not sure if bankruptcy is a real solution.
