I think lawyers should be hired. Maybe in some situations, such as small claims courts, or in those situations where people have very little to lose, maybe not. But if you had a significant problem, let the lawyer who has experience have the headache for you.

I mean this is like saying "We shouldn't ever pay a doctor because we can be doctors ourselves." Yes, in some matters we may not need to see a doctor and can handle the situation ourselves, but not in all.

A sure sign of wisdom is knowing when you are in over your head.

We have a lawyer by the way who we get advice from. This legal advice has greatly reduced our stress level.
