Are you saying you were never served?
If you mean was I ever required to go to court, no

Are they asking for the court costs only?
yes thats 8 dollars

Is this the CA that sent this letter?
this letter came from the state; the assistant attorney general

Look for a case number on the Satisfaction of Judgment. Call the court and find out if there is a Judgment or not. It sure sounds like it.
I see a case number, its open on the courts web page.

When you pay a Judgment, you normally pay through the court. Don't ever pay the CA for a Judgment. Pay the court and the court will send the money to the CA.
the letter states that " although our records may reflect payment of satisfaction of this Judgment, it is still nesessary that you present the enclosed Release to the Clerk of the Common Pleas Court in the county indicated in order that your record be cleard with the court."

You may be able to have it removed if you weren't served. Just call the court and ask what it shows on the servicing document. Served or not? Ask how served?
Again not sure what served means but I will find out in a few hours.

Thanks CAK

Again if they pulled up my photocopies they will see I had all the supporting docs to prove what I did.... their is a chance they found I was in the right?? I dont know!

Standing by for heavy seas!
