What you need to focus on is not the CC card, but the Judgment. If you have anything of value above your states exemptions, EXISTING LIENS OR NOT, you can wave bye bye to it. Because it will be sold at a Sheriff's Sale. Example, lets say you have a vehicle that is worth only $5,000. They will seize it and sell it and apply the proceeds to your outstanding Judgment balance. If something like this happens, make sure you claim your exemptions. You may then get part of the Sale proceeds. I can assure you, they will be finding out what you have or don't have. Make sure the only thing you deposit into your bank account is SS payments. Anything else above exemptions is fair game.

Why don't you consider making payments to the court on this Judgment after agreeing to something in a Written Agreement with the Creditor. Do not make payments to the Judgment Creditor, only to the Court. File a copy of your Written Agreement with the court.

The Judgment Creditor can pursue you for up to 20 years in some states after the Judgment is revived. Not that you are, but if you are hiding assets, do you really want to live in fear for that long.

Read your States exemptions and make sure everything is exempt.

The Judgment doesn't affect the CC.
