I, too, have been getting letters and calls from Camco regarding a charged off citibank credit card from 12 years ago, I have ignored their letters and calls. I know that the SOL has passed and that the debt is now uncollectable. I hadn't heard from them in approx 2 months, and now suddenly, I get a call from Jamaica (876-951-6908) and this woman saying she's from Camco and I need to pay off my debt, when I tell her that it's no longer collectable and I know the SOL has run out, she starts screaming at me to "pay my bill, deadbeat!" I then hung up. Now I haven't heard anything for 7 days, but I know they haven't given up. Has anyone else been getting off shore call's from them? And what are the laws on this?
