I was sued by a collection agency in British Columbia. It was within the SOL though (just by a couple of months) I filed Chapter 7, but I noticed posts here about First Resolution(months after the fact)and there was some question as to whether or not they had the legal right to sue. Why Chat will probably answer you on this. I am interested to see what he says.
