The State laws define what is and what isn't a contract subject to a "written contract" SOL.

CAK is, I suppose, entitled to his opinion, which is apparently shared by another frequent poster on this forum.

My website has for each State the "rules" for determining "written" contracts and open-end credit agreements.Florida's is posted on it's page.

In addition, on my "How To Answer A Time Barred Lawsuit" pages, I have a complete description of how to fight the lawyer's claim that because you "signed" it makes it a legal "written" contract.

I could explain at length the diference, but in short, it has NOTHING to do with any actual "writing" or "signing" it has to do with the laws of contracts as spelled out in each State's statutes.
