Another thing. After reading your post again, I think you are saying that they have basically six months after the charge off to report the account. Where did you get that information? I couldn't find it in the FCRA anywhere at all. It is ninety days.

The only thing that I read with regards to charge offs is this. After an account is delinquent, they have 180 days to charge it off usually. This has nothing to do with reporting. And even then, correct information must be given.
