Keep this in mind. These lawyers operate on volume- they file 30 suits at the same time, so all the cases INITIALLY come up for trial at the same time. Most don't even show up, so they get an automatic win .

If you fight back, it costs them time (which is money to them) and forces them to actually work.

Sometimes, they don't show up and you can get the automatic win. (don't count on this, although it can happen).

If you are past the four year sol, you can also file against them in federal court for suing past the deadline.

Anyway, call all the lawyers in your city - www.naca.net ...you may find one who will go to the wall for you. If not, use WhyChat's answer.
