If you are in Ca. you can sue them for their violations of BOTH the Federal FDCPA and the Ca. FDCPA.
The Fed. carries $1,000 per violation + legal fees, the Ca. is $5,000 per violation + legal fees. Go to my website, click on California, at the bottom of the page is a link to "JR".
