trans-goonion strikes again

I went to a new bank to open a checking account yesterday. They took my information,social security # street address.The usual for opening such an account. You are scored on points as to your worthiness to open checking accounts.You have to score a "60" to be allowed to do so .The bank naturally runs your information through trans goonion to see if (I suppose)you are lying.They (trans-goonion) come back with 10 year old information.The address on my drivers license(the current one) and credit cards don't seem to matter after that.I failed the test with a "44" and was not allowed to open an account.Now if they ran a credit check ,trans goonion would know all about my current stats(as much as has been reported to them).It seems odd that trans -goonion gets to decide if you can have a bank account based on 10 year old information.
