civil summons STILL Confused

it already went to arbitration & wolpoff won..lol...NOW they gave it to smith debnam law firm in Raleigh NC...
they served me from my county court house with a civil summons & I need to answer by this FRIDAY....DO I ANSWER? what do I answer? or not answer & get a default judgment....no wage ganishment in NC, & no equity in home that is not exempt... want to file BK, but NO money....some say file some say dont some say answer some say dont I am so confused.. how do you answer a civil summons that is NOT SOL.. last paid 2002 in NC..charged off. account been to arbitration & now civil summons needs answer..or NOT maybe not answer at all....
