It didn't do much good to see that consumer lawyer as he took the side of ASSet. He said, "if you're judgment proof then why do you want to appeal, why do you care?" He insinuated that perhaps I was hiding assets, thus the desire to appeal. He even questioned my disability, insinuating that perhaps I could get a job and pay that ASSet scum of a CA the 16 grand. "If you're just looking for something to do," he said, "and want to do all the leg work then go ahead and file an appeal [on your own]..." But in his opinion he didn't think I would have a chance. Finally he said, "if you are judgment proof and you know if you are then you could always tell them to kiss your ASS." I 'bout fell out of the chair. That's when I got up and left.
