I don't know about tax liens, or liens from child support payments or accidents or or other similar exceptions. I was referring ONLY to money judgments from a credit card debt.

All States have various time limits for both filing suit and for the length of time such judgments stay in force.

In the case of Federal liens of any type, they are subject to whatever the Federal laws are on the subject under the Federal Supremacy rules.
