we live in ny state and we bought the house 1.5years ago so there is no equity.
The other house w/ my ex-we bought that almost 9years ago. That already has an existing lien on that is almost paid off.
Neither mortgage company used my income to buy either house(I was a stay at home mom both times/self-employed)-my name was just put on there as co-owner.
