IF you can get a rep from the CA to repeat this nonsense about the IRS on tape,after identifying themselves, you will be able to take this to a consumer attorney and sue the for violations of the FDCPA. You may wind up gettin back more $$ than you owe.

In the case of criminal actions (representing a non existant Federal authority) you are not required to advise them they are being taped.
