What does your credit report look like? Is it clean, or do you have a lot of derogatory info on it? I'm just wondering if there's anything that triggered this since creditors won't usually sue unless they think they can get something out of a debtor.

Did you try negotiating with them? Were there any warning signs? Just a little nervous.

Did you request validation? I did, thanks to info here from CAK, now I feel like a fool. Sorry for all the questions.
