I see what you're saying. Fortunately, or unfortunately as the case may be, I have an absolutely horrendous CR currently. Many charge offs/delinquent accts, liens, no assets, etc. I don't think an OC would think I'm trying to clear up my credit by requesting validation. The validation request was just in response to their initial letter, so I think it may just look like a reaction, as opposed to something else. At least that's what I'm hoping.
