I got the same mail from northland group. I checked them up on the net to find that this group exist and that it is located in mn... however the letter i got had the p.o box instead of a street and a different phone number and toll free number from the the other lady.

I asked them for the records of my bill but they said that they can not give it to me unless I send them a letter requesting it. However they said that by requesting the bill I am validating the debt and can no longer settle.

is this a standard procedure? is this group at the pobox valid??
