Two ways to deal with these creeps:

#1. Don't talk to them.

#2. If you must speak with them, try my friend's
method for dealing with obscene phone calls
(pre caller id)

"Is this an obscene phone call? Great! Could
you please wait until I get a drink and a
cigarette?"

If that doesn't cause a disconnect, I suggest y
you tell them you are taping the phone call, a
ask for their complete name and home address.
