What exactly do you suggest I do about the bad collectors in my agency? I have already stated that I am sickened by the tactics by the bad collectors in my office. I am not very popular with these people, they have taken on an attitude that they think that I think I am better than they are. In a sense I am, I don't hurt people, lie, or try to make them feel worse than they already do. My supervisors know all about my feelings and concerns about these rule breakers and my supervisors are happy that I collect the way that I do. I am one small voice of an army of 500 collectors in my office.

I am trying my best to be a human being on the phone.
What else can I do?
I am a debt collector this is my job but I do care whether or not you wish to believe it or not.

I am a debt collector that does care that you are a pet lover like me. One of my debtors has a canary, (heard a bird's beautiful singing in the background one day) we have had discussions about bird training and she has given me some wonderful advice on how to get my bird talking.

I am sorry for all of the collection agents that have wrong you, screwed you and made you angry. Please don't punish me because these people have treated you wrong, unfair and in an inappropriate way.

BWY, my "profession" is actually as a pharmaceutical sales rep but like I said due to the language issue I am not currently doing what I have studied and trained for.

I still have to work, put food on the table just like anyone else. I have not tried to rub anyone's nose into anything.

I think you have a extreme dislike and hatred towards all bill collectors in general, I could tell you that I am Mother Teresa and that would not be good enough for you.
I also think that you would rather hate and dislike me the "bill collector" I don't think you like the idea that there are bill collectors that are actually decent, kind human beings. I wonder why that is?
