Why can't you pay? You said you racked this all up in school. Do you now have a skill? Are you looking for employment? Have you been injured? Are you ill? Unless there are some very extenuating circumstances, the fact remains that YOU charged this debt. I charged a large debt during a very difficult period in my life while dealing with life going down the tubes and family being sick. But it's MY debt and I'm paying on it, interest and all. I agreed to most of all that would happen. Not all, and that is what I will fight. But I owe a debt. I need to pay it. So do all of us, except if unusual cases.
