Sounds very similar to my experience with Credigy.
Credigy purchased my First Select account in April
2003. Claims I never made a payment since 1999. They
want the full sum plus interest. Even First Select
agrees I've paid through my CCC. CCC is having to trace all checks paid to First Select since then.
Credigy still will not provide me with a balance, and is jerking me and my ccc around big time. Credigy finally admitted that I'm paid in full since
12/03. Still will not give me a balance. around
$1300. was the original amt. in 1999. oh yeah, they never told me they purchased the account.
I think Credigy is very shady.
