It is illegal for a lawyer to stop payments on Court ordered child support payments which are exempt by law from being included in BK.

Call the State child welfare and your State Attorney General's office and the Bar Association.

You have no "standing" with a BK trustee who has not even been appointed yet on a newly filed BK.(CAK has a lot of nerve showing his lying CA face here after being shown to be a pathetic scum scam collection agent who doesn't know
S&#T about anything).

You can file a suit, (get a child support advocate lawyer) against the lawyer who has done this, you will get the garnishment reinstated and damages and sanctions against the lawyer.

Are you SURE that there was an actual "stay" of the garnishment order? Or is it possible that your ex lied to his employer and told him to stop the payments because he had filed BK.
