Wolpoff & Abramson, MBNA..please help!!

I recieved a packet from Wolpoff & Abramson stating that I owed 14K to MBNA out of the blue. I didn't even know this account existed so I called them to find out what was going on. They had all my correct information but this is not my account or charges. I actually don't own any credit cards, and have always been in good standing credit wise. I filed a dispute with 2 of 3 credit agencys after I order my CR (they suggest I get a credit report) and saw this,one of the agencys had this account as closed by consumer but still had this MBNA balance on it which really confused me. They W & A stated that payment was made on this account earlier this year for 3 months. I looked at my cancelled checks and I found one that was not my check but was a check that was signed by W & A stating that they signed it with my authorization which I DID NOT! I'm going to the bank on monday to see what happened there, but can anyone please give me some direction as what I should do. I don't want to get sued as I'm recently retired and am on a fixed income, but also this I never purchased anything on this card. I've never had any problems with credit before. PLEASE HELP!!
