Good Afternoon everyone, Could anyone please tell me if I should settle for a charged off account that would bring my status on that account from a R9 to an R5?
It is a credit card that was charged off on october 2000.
They are telling me that the fact that I settle would improve my credit report but I am not sure at all if I should believe this. Also they are telling me that it wouldn't reset my date on my CR and it would still drop off in 2007.
Any information as of where I can find more out about those R's ? Have been looking all over the internet and can't find anything.
