#1 DO NOT SETTLE!!!

You need to file a notice of appearance, and answer to the lawyer AND the court in the time specified. These may also be called a "responsive pleading form" the court clerk can tell you where to get and how to file these.

#2 You HAVE to talk to an attorney about this one. DO NOT RETAIN AN ATTORNEY.........simply call in the phone book and find an attorney that will see you for an hour for like $50-100.....DONT pay more than that. Take ALL the paperwork, and they will tell you how to respond to keep you from having to pay this BS debt.

REMEMBER...........TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!!!

if you dont respond in the time specified in the complaint.........YOU LOSE BY DEFAULT!!!!

so call an attorney NOW!!!!!

ANY attorney can handle this type of case. it is MOST BASIC......find the cheapest one you can. This is like 1st year law stuff, dont waste your money on a name.
