The charge off I have was in my name and my ex was a card holder. I was told because its my name first he isn't responsible. Being that MRS isn't calling him about the debt, obviously they aren't holding him accountable either. I was also told divorce decree means squat where a debt is involved. Whose ever name the debt is in is responsible. Mortgage is different-its joint and both are responsible.
