That's their standard answer to anything you say that is not "I will pay you now" - don't let them rattle you. They're so full of crap. They got hold of my cell phone number a while back and I informed the witch who kept calling that they were calling a cell phone and that it is a violation of the FDCPA for them to do so (it costs YOU money for them to call you).

I finally changed my cell phone number (I moved so I had to do it anyway) and the jerks have not gotten their hands on the new one and they never will as long as I have anything to say about it !
