What are your damages? Apply for new credit, and if your turned down, you now can claim damages. IMO, your damages would be limited to the extra interest you would have to pay. Car dealers will be able to give the best evidence. They can tell you that with a 720 fico you would get the loan at 5% vs. 11% with a 520 fico. So buy that car and sue for that extra interest of 6%. I've seen other posts were people claim they applied for 5k line and when turned down they sue for 5k. I think that is hog wash.
