Okay, I have a LOC of $50,000. I transferred $6000 to my bank account in order to pay the credit cards off to avoid their big interest rates. If I then pay them in full, but am only using a fraction of my LOC, will my credit be adversely affected? I near my limit on one credit card (3700/4000) and high on the other (900/1500). How much can I pay TODAY (to save money) and still protect my credit? And does the LOC approved amount show up on my credit report? (I haven't pulled my credit report since this approval).
