Auto Repo, Collection of Deficiency Judgement

My car is probably going to be repo'd. I was just wondering to what lengths the creditor can go to collect deficiency judgements. I've heard that they can garnish your paychecks, as well as your tax returns. Is this true? Any information regarding this matter would be appreciated.
