Depending on your State, the kinds of exemptions etc. the best bet most likely is for HER to file individual CH7 NOW.

You may also wish to consider this, what if you DON'T get back to work?You might want to consider CH7 for yourself as well.

Once you change any unsecured debt to secured debt, you risk losing your house.
