What form did this 'validation' assume? To comply with fed regs this must be a detailed account all charges and payments. The reason mentioned is many scumbag collection -redundant-agencies fob off some one page poopsheet stating your name, amount allegedly owed and the last payment date. Perhaps they give themselves away as SOL starts a runnin' when next payment due is missed and not made up, not date of last payment. Unless 'validation' complies with the law these lice are in trouble and can be countersued, be careful. Make no admissions, say little, nothing in writing, touch no one. NCO is among the lowest of these scabies collectors, quite an achievement when you consider the competition.
