I am still not in favor of the fax.

Having worked in the credit collection field myself I can tell you that a Fax can be disputed at any time versus a letter that has original signatures on.

Collections representatives have been know for signing instead of the manager in charge that day ... it has happened and negative items did not get removed to that attention.
