I agree with observer. BK may be an option with you. In Texas, when you go Chapter 7 bankrutptcy, you have complete homestead exemption and in many cases you get to keep your car. Many lawyers offer a one time free bankruptcy consultation to see if it is the right option for you. Bring in copies of all your bills, a detailed accounting of all expenses, including miscellaneous expenses and go over it all.
