for secured try capital one or orchard bank. people seem to like those the most although they all blow. stay away from providian and first premier and merrick bank as they suck royally and will screw you at every turn. orchard will run a soft inquiry from experian to see what sort of card you qualify for and then will run a hard from equifax(or they did but probably still do) to see what exact card you should get.
