If a cc charged off the account for the tax write off, does that mean I owe taxes on the amount of the charge off? If a ca collects part of the charged off account, does that mean the ca gets all the money or does the cc have to revise the tax write off? If I settle a charged off account, what should I try to get put on my crdit report so it doesn't look as bad?
