what you can attempt is to bargain with the creditor to settle for deletion ( but it is not easy and requires hours of headaches).

nut paying a charge off without any bargaining will not help your CR and if they offer you to remove the Charge Off (R9) for a R5 ... do not accept ... it doesn't improve your CR either. It just goes from a 180+ late to a 120+ late.
