my daughter in law was a debt collector awhile. she found out real quick how they work. they work on commission..and if u dont produce money u get fired. minimum wage job with training on laws..and a wink when they break it. the bottom line is production..and money coming in,.u must be willing to be verbally abusive and nasty to any and all u call over and over.every day..mean to perfect strangers...and a list is kept with responses..and a "view" of the person u called. ie; what will work..what didnt..if they answer..etc. u dont produce u r canned. quickly..thats why the fast turnover rate in who calls u. lists r given to another if one doesnt respond..assuming i guess someone else can con u better. this is what she told me..and more to the point she knows what they cant do and why they do it. just a general view frm my perspective here folks..they dont care about u at all..only if they get paid. and no response..no pay. i agree with u metoo..they wont let a CA have a protected account..they dont make much money as it is...the individual callers for CAs...and i just feel sorry for anyone who does this for money. selling their souls to be ugly to others..look up collection lawyers and agencies they r begging for employees. i guess so. "guarantee to get ur money at no cost to u!" uh huh. lol,
