P.S. I am going to be slammed by a few people on the board for suggesting calling.
In fact, many people on this board think that when you are in collections you should not have to pay your debts anymore.
You can always call from a pay phone if you are afraid they will get your phone number.
There is nothing wrong with calling back to have a talk off.
If you decide not to settle or PIF that is your own decision.
