I would have offered a re payment plan
I usually offer 200.00 per month on balances of 1,000 and under. Over 1,000 the payment must be 300. per month.
The days of the minimum 17.00 dollars per month ended when you stopped paying with the OC.
We are a collection agency, as in COLLECTING ON THE MONEY THAT YOU OWE.

Like I maintain, I feel for the old, sick and welfare cases. For these people they have no means or way of paying, for the young, able bodied PAY UP work two jobs if must be.
Quit sleeping in to noon each day and get a job.

I work two jobs actually,and have only sundays off, I clean my house on that day.

I have a goal an plan for my future, what is your plan?
