Are you being sued in Circuit Court? Is your Circuit Court online? What does it say on your paperwork? In the Circuit Court of Cook County, they have a "Pro Se" program. I don't know if you would qualify for that. Go dig around the State of Illinois Circuit Court sites and see if there is anything that might help you. Keep in mind, that if you ask for validation from the Plaintiff, you might not get it. Or the judge will side with whatever the Plaintiff asks.
