Judgment granted after SOL?

Can a CA file a complaint and get a judgment agaist you after the SOL??? Then garnish your pay 3 years later? This is true. The case is too long to put here, this is JUST the beginning, so whatever input you can give would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance for your response.
