Not quite. Per the FCRA it is 7 years +180 days from the DATE OF 1st DELINQUENCY that preceeded the charge-off. Date of last payment has nothing to do with it unless the last payment brings the account 100% current.

If you're 5 months behind, owe $500, and send them $20, that does not bring the account current and it does not change the date because the account would STILL get charged-off the following month.
