I sincerely doubt you are being sued. In most states in order to get a warrant for a bad check the following must happen: 1. An actual copy of the check must be shown - JBC does NOT have a copy of the check. 2. The person whom the check was written to must swear the warrant (civil or criminal). In other words you write a check to "John Smith" then John Smith or his attorney has to get the warrant, in criminal cases it must be "John Smith." 3. You must first receive a certified letter giving you ten days. My intuition tells me they sent you fake papers. Also, if you did not get these papers from a sheriff or process server you were not served with anything. Hope that helps. MF
