OK I was reviewing my credit report and I noticed a few things.
A loan that I had which was joint is no longer joint. (ex wife) The loan was opened in 12/93
The Delinq prior is 10/96 Max Del 9/97
They also list charge off 1/03
My question is this. I know that I have not made any payments to this loan in over 7 years. Now as I look at my credit report I see this stuff and wonder what exactly is going on? The collections agency has it listed as reported 8/98 and of course as I noted before the amount is much higher. What do I need to do now? Settle? Pay in full? Fight? All help is appreciated.
