You have several choices, depending on your relationship with your wife.

First, see a lawyer, preferably the one who drew up your "limited" power of attorney.

Next, if your wife can not account for where the $$ went, I suggest you find out. Get a lawyer or PI to investigate.

If you are still married,and intend to stay married to her, you will have a very diifficult time getting out of paying these charges, you would have to file a fraud claim, if she misused the "limited" power of attorney.

I suggest you see whomever is in the security section of your employment and do some pre-emptive damage control before they find out from a regular sweep.
