Observer gave me this information a while back stating it was illegal to even collect on time-barred debts. Here is the link. http://www.kohnlaw.com/site_uploads/newsletter/newsletter10_2.pdf This is where I got the information that it was illegal to even attempt to collect debt in Wisconsin.
